WHAT I'M WEARING

T-SHIRT - IMPERICON FEST
PVC PANTS - PULL & BEAR
LEATHER JACKET - TOPSHOP (similar)
BANGLE - CARTERGORE
GARTER & GLASSES - EBAY

I haven't been posting as much as I usually do recently as I've had quite a lot going on in the past month. Some of you may or may not know that my boyfriend Jay is in a band called Cabin Boy Jumped Ship and I was lucky enough to be invited along to Vienna, Austria to film them perform at Impericon Festival!

If you haven't heard of Cabin Boy Jumped Ship, they're a four piece electronicore / metal band, go check them out here. They are currently working on their first album which should be released later on this year, so keep your eyes peeled, they also make some sick merch!

I had such an awesome time in Vienna and it was pretty cool to see Cabin Boy perform on such a big stage alongside bands such as Silverstein, Bury Tomorrow, Attila, We Came As Romans and many more. I was also so excited that I finally got a chance to see Silverstein live too, my inner 16 year old was screaming!

So overall Vienna was great, despite only being there for around 48 hours. I'll definitely have to go back and visit again as it was such a beautiful place.

I am so proud of Cabin Boy and what they have achieved as they've worked really hard to get to this point. They are also playing the 'Doghouse Stage' at Download Festival on the Thursday this year, so be sure to go and check them out if your going!

So without further ado here's the video from Impericon Fest...

I hope you all enjoyed the video, it was fun to film!
Now onto this weeks look...

So I couldn't resist buying this Impericon Festival t-shirt whilst I was out there. I love band tees they are so comfy and dead easy to style. It's something you can just chuck on and you know it's going to instantly work with whatever your wearing. Other than it's awesome design and comfy fit I just had to buy it as it was a lineup tee and it had my bfs band on the back, how cool is that?! I brought the t-shirt in a large as I like to wear them oversized and it gives the garment a lot more versatility when it comes to styling.

For this look I paired the t-shirt with my favourite pair of PVC trousers, a leather jacket and my chunky Dr Marten Jungle boots, the rest of this outfit is basically accessories. I believe that with a few, well placed accessories you can really elevate a look. It is so easy and quick to do and will really add detail and dimension to what could of been a pretty basic look.

I am currently obsessed with garters and leg harnesses right now, I first noticed them when I was reading Olivia Emily's blog. They are so cool and can completely upgrade an old pair of trousers for only a couple of quid! It is by far my favourite accessory at the moment as they are so affordable and can bring older, over worn garments back to life.

I loved putting this look together, it's definitely something I can see myself wearing to a festival and if it does get warmer (fingers crossed) I can just replace the PVC trousers with one of my PVC skirts.

I hope you all enjoyed reading this post as it's a little different to what I normally do.
Are any of you going to a festival this year? Let me know in the comments below!

Thanks for reading!
