A few weeks ago I was contacted by a brand called Naomi Shu. If you haven't heard of them they are basically an online store that predominantly sells really edgy yet affordable shoes. I've been following them for quite a few years, so I was really excited when they approached me to do a collaboration. They ended up naming a shoe after me, well my blogger name, but how cool is that!? We all know I have a slight shoe obsession so it was the perfect collaboration.

I ended up choosing these cleated heel platform boots with buckle detailing on the sides. There is also an open toe version here, just in time for summer! I love boots like this, from the way that they look to how comfy and easy they are to walk in. There's a lot of support around the ankle with this style of boot, which is great for me as I'm dead clumsy!

You may have also noticed that my shoes are not the only new addition in this post. I finally got around to getting my legs tattooed! I got them done about a month and a half ago by the talented Kev Richardson of Bodycraft Tattoo in Nottingham. I love them so much and can't wait to get more! Go check his work out, especially if your a fan of blackwork tattoos he's amazing!

Anyway onto this weeks look...

I decided to use the 'Amy Stardust' shoes as a base to build the rest of the outfit around. I find it a lot easier to put together an outfit when you base it around one particular item whether its a top, a pair of trousers or in this case a pair of shoes. It really gives you a concise and finished overall look.

So it was finally warm enough last weekend to get out my legs and lets face it, I wanted to show off my new tattoos! I chucked on a denim skirt I brought last summer, (I really need to go out and get some new summer clothes!) And as it was still at bit chilly in the evening I paired the skirt with my favourite, go to oversized jumper. The thing that really makes this outfit pop though is the leg harness, as you can tell they are by far my favourite accessory right now. I found this one on ebay for a fiver, it really does add dimension and interest to any outfit. I really like the hardware on the harness as it pulls the outfit together linking in the boots and choker. I finished off the look with this awesome bag I found in a charity shop for £5.99! Can you believe it!?

I had fun putting this together, it's quite a playful look and I'm so glad it's finally warm enough to go out without a coat!
