I will never get fed up with t-shirt dresses. They are honestly one of the most versatile pieces you can add to your wardrobe.

Wear it as a t-shirt, a dress, with a skirt or a pair of jeans. Layer it up in the winter or wear it on its own in the summer, It's an all year round piece.
Now we all know I love my clothes but I don't actually have a many as you may think. I'm really quite picky when it comes to shopping. I like to keep my wardrobe to a minimum so owning versatile pieces like this is essential to do so. It gives me more options when putting together a look without the need of owning an excessive amount of clothes that I'll never end up wearing.

So when Motel Rocks asked me to pick a few items from their site you know I had to go for a t-shirt dress. I've had my eye on this particular one for a while now. I'm currently loving the whole cherub / angel print trend thats been going on. I also like that it has drop shoulders and an oversized fit, I find oversized items a lot easier to style as you can do a lot more with them.
There were so many ways that I could style this t-shirt dress but I decided to show you just two of my favourite ways to wear it, otherwise this post would be extremely long! 😂
So for the first look I decided to wear the dress like a t-shirt and tucked it into a PVC skirt. I used this cool chain belt I got from ASOS to cinch it in and to break up the all black outfit. I ended up wearing a mesh top under both of the looks as it was such a cold day! I do like to layer my clothes. As I was wearing this, I went and rolled the sleeves up to reveal more mesh. It's a subtle way to change up an outfit but rolling your sleeves can really make a difference. I finished of the look with my new rocks, a beret and a few pieces of jewellery.

For the second look I ended up wearing it as a dress, this is such a quick and easy outfit to do especially when you really can't be bothered to find something to go with it. Instead of using a belt to cinch in the waist I used this cross body bag. I love this bag, I wear it all the time. Not only is it really useful but it looks dead cool and really adds to an outfit.

So that's just two ways you can wear a t-shirt dress. Check out the little lookbook video I did for this below ↓

I hope you found this useful! I'll probably show you more ways you can wear a t-shirt dress in the future, so keep your eyes peeled!
