OOTD: BACK IN BLACK

WHAT I'M WEARING

JEANS / BEANIE / BELT - PRIMARK
CROSS BODY BAG - EBAY
CHOKER - NAOMI SHU *

It's amazing how drastically my mood and motivation have soared since the change in weather, It's crazy what some blue skys and a little bit of vitamin d can do. It's been a long winter and it was starting to get to me, my motivation, in all aspects of my life, was at an all time low and I was just sick of feeling cold all the time! But the end of winter is finally in sight and it's about time!

I'm really looking forward to the new season and will be putting together some winter / spring transitional outfits soon. But for this week I'm giving you all the grunge vibes with this all black look (who would've guessed?!)

So last month the brand One Above Another sent me a few pieces to style, one of the items being this awesome boob tube / bandeau top. I absolutely love the buckle sleeves on this, it elevates what was a basic piece and gives it a lot more edge and style.

The top had a really 90s feel to it and would look really cute in the summer with a pair of high waisted mom shorts and a plaid shirt. However as it is way too cold for that right now I decided to pair it with my favourite mom jeans and an oversized denim jacket, I do love a bit of double denim.

For the accessories I wanted to keep with the 90s vibe and added this cute heart choker, a black beanie, my favourite bum bag and my trusty pair of Dr Martens. I used silver accents throughout as it works so well against an all black look.

I love this outfit so much and as it seems to be getting warmer I'll definitely be wearing it more. I had a lot of fun shooting this look, the aesthetic worked really well with the location I found. Location hunting has to be one of my favourite things to do. It's amazing what you can find if you just look, I mean how cool is this trolly 'sculpture'?!

Are you just as excited for spring / summer as I am or are you more of a winter / autumn person?
