Plaid is definitely having a moment right now, it it EVERYWHERE! And I can see why, it's a classic print full of versatility, It's no wonder that it keeps on making a comeback year in, year out. 
For me plaid and autumn go hand in hand, they're the perfect combination. So whether you go for a bold, colourful tartan this season or more of a neutral plaid you really can't go wrong!

I personally have a fair bit of plaid in my wardrobe already but I couldn't resist buying this really cute mini skirt when I saw it in Primark the other week. It is by far one of the comfiest skirts I've ever owned. The only issue is that it is very short, especially as I like to wear it high on my waist. To avoid any flashing I simply wear a small pair of cycling shorts underneath, trust me they are a great investment!
This skirt is so versatile and can be styled in so many different ways, that's what I love about it. Pair it with a black roll neck and leather jacket for a classic, slick look or chuck on a matching blazer for that preppy clueless vibe. There are so many ways to go with it no matter what your style. 
I ended up styling this skirt with a cropped band tee, an oversized denim jacket and my favourite pair of Docs. As for accessories I've kept it simple with a few rings, a choker and a bandanna. I've been loving bandannas recently they are perfect for when you really can't be bothered, just throw your hair up in a messy bun and chuck on a bandanna and you'll be ready to go in a matter of minutes!
