It's been a while since I've been on here but now I'm back with a whole new blog layout and my first outfit post of the year.

Over the last few months I have been consciously avoiding shooting looks outside as the weather has been so grim! However last week we were lucky enough for the sun to grace us with its presence.

This week's outfit has to be one of my favourite go to looks of the month. I practically live in band t-shirts they are very versatile and go so well with the effortlessness and muted tones of the grunge aesthetic that I am so in love with right now.

The key piece of this look is most definitely the coat, I have been looking for one I liked for ages and was stupid enough to get rid of my old one before getting a replacement! Fortunately I came across this oversized long line bomber coat on Zara.com and just couldn't believe the price, it had been reduced from £69.99 to £19.99, bargain!

As the coat was rather bright and bold I decided to stick to grey tones for the rest of the look. I love these bi tonal black and grey jeans, also from Zara, they are really distinctive, breaking up the two shades of grey seen in both the jeans and t-shirt.

And finally on my lips I am wearing Jeffree Star's Velour Liquid Lipstick in the shade Designer Blood, this small detail along with my reworked veiled beanie pulls together the overall look and grunge vibe.

Keep your eyes pealed for a tutorial post on how I created the veiled beanie in this look.
